TYN LON, ABERSOCH
The cottage, which has a modern, light interior, was newly furnished and equipped in 2005. Detached and single-storey the cottage, which has been awarded a 3 star grading by Visit Wales, is located in the centre of Mynytho. The village enjoys panoramic views towards Cardigan Bay and St. Tudwal's Islands.
As well as being about two and a half miles inland from Abersoch, with its beautiful beaches and excellent amenities, the cottage is well placed for exploring the surrounding area.
Tyn Lon can sleep up to six people, (plus room for a travel cot), and is ideal for children. Facilities include a new kitchen and adjoining dining room, a large sitting room with sofa bed, open fire and door to the garden, a bathroom with a white three piece suite and electric shower, a spacious double bedroom (with king size bed) and a single bedroom with adult-sized bunk beds.
Facilities include a colour TV and DVD, washer/dryer, electric oven and hob, fridge (with small freezer section), microwave and highchair. The cottage has central heating and double glazing, making it an ideal year-round holiday destination.
Safety features include a fire extinguisher, two smoke alarms and new soft furnishings, which adhere to current fire regulations. All electrical sockets are fitted with child proof covers.
To the rear is a small pretty, enclosed patio-style garden, which enjoys a sunny aspect and is equipped with patio furniture and a BBQ. A detached stone-built shed provides additional storage space for guests’ surfboards, bicycles etc.
The cottage is located on the main village road that runs through Mynytho, but because it is ‘back to front’ in style, the ‘front door’ is located in the rear garden area which is completely private and peaceful.
A gated area to one end of the cottage provides a secure space for parking boats, with car parking to the roadway. The village general store and post office (which is open seven days a week) is opposite and the bus stop to Abersoch is close by.
